Once you deposit your application at the Nigerian Embassy, the staff will perform a completeness check based on the requirements that you can find in the Immigration Section of this page. Once the Consul has assessed your application and interviewed you, a decision will be made according to your necessities and affix a visa counterfoil in your passport or otherwise issue you with a letter explaining why a visa could not be granted. The Nigerian Consular Section will then securely return your passport (after 3 to 5 working days); you may then come to the Embassy to retrieve your passport or arrange to have it couriered to your address.
